How to Apply for Learner's/Learning Licence
Follow the steps given below to apply for the Learning License online through Parivahan Sarathi Portal.
- Visit the official website of Sarathi Parivahan @ sarathi.parivahan.gov
- Select State Name.
- Click on "Apply for Learner Licence"
- A new page will open where instructions will be given regarding the stages to be followed for submitting the application form.
- You can read the instruction before clicking on Continue
- Click on the Continue button.
- After that, a new page will open where you have to select one option from Diplomat (Foreigner) / Repatriate / Refugees / Foreigners (But not Diplomats) / Ex-Servicemen / Physically Challenged)
Learner's Licence select the category- From this, the option of the first number (Applicant does not hold Driving / Learner License) has to be selected, and click on the submit button.
- Now a new page will open this will be the Vehicle driving learner license form. Enter all the information asked in it carefully.
- After entering the information, click on the submit button below.
- After this, a new page will open where you have to upload the documents.
- Pay the application fee usi8ng any mode from UPI, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
- Print the receipt for further reference.
Sarathi Parivahan: How to Apply For Driving License
- Visit the official website i.e. https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/
- On the home page select the state name from where you have to make your driving license.
- After this, a new page will open in front of you where "Apply for Driving License" option will appear as shown in the picture.
- A new page will open where instructions will be given regarding the stages to be followed for submitting the application form.
- You can read the instruction before clicking on Continue
- Click on this option, A page will be displayed telling the stages to come while applying for a driving license.
- Fill in the Learner's Licence details such as Licence Number, Date of Birth, and click on "OK".
- Upload your necessary documents.
- Now select DL Appointment Time.
- Pay for the Driving Licence fee.
- Finally submit the form.

- Visit the official website of Sarathi Parivahan directly @ sarathi.parivahan.gov.in Or
- Go to parivahan.gov.in and click on the "Driving License Related Services" dropdown option under the "Online Services" menu tab.
- After following the above steps, you will reach the Sarathi Official Portal.
- Select State Name for which you want to know the status.
- Now you can see the "Application Status" option.
- Click on this option.
- A new page will open where fill in your Application Number and Date of Birth.
- Click on the Submit button to get your application status.
- Now the status will be displayed on the screen.
